We are very proud to be co-hosting these two concerts in the beautiful chapel of Ascot Priory - the acoustic in the chapel is very special, and we love singing here!
James Brokenshire MP
Occasions was honoured to be asked to be part of the funeral for James Brokenshire MP, who passed away in 2021 His constituency, Sidcup and Old Bexley, was very fortunate to have such a wonderful man representing their interests.
His funeral was very well-attended and there were many high-profile mourners - Theresa May MP gave the Bible reading. Occasions sang Walford Davis' 'God be in my head'.
After this, we were invited to be part of his Memorial Service, and for this we sang
Ben E King's 'Stand by me'.
