CHRISTMAS 2024

Another packed Christmas for Occasions, with loads of carol singing in various venues! The events we are most looking forward to are:

Until We Meet Again at All Saints Church, Binfield. This is an annual Christmas meditation, with music, for anyone and everyone who has lost a dear one, at any time. This is always a very moving event, and all are welcome.
8th December, 6pm

The Annual Carol Concert for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance at Dorchester Abbey, 12th December. This is a private event.

Our Annual Candlelit Carol Concert at the Reading Minster, 21st December, 5pm. This is always a very popular concert - it's only an hour long, but packed with fabulous seasonal music from Occasions, the Reading Male Voice Choir, and the 5Ts, the Brass Quintet. And of course, Audience Carols! This is always very popular, so book your tickets now!
CHRISTMAS 2023

​We are very proud to be co-hosting these two concerts in the beautiful chapel of Ascot Priory - the acoustic in the chapel is very special, and we love singing here!

James Brokenshire MP​

Occasions was honoured to be asked to be part of the funeral for James Brokenshire MP, who passed away earlier this year.
His constituency, Sidcup and Old Bexley, was very fortunate to have such a wonderful man representing their interests.
His funeral was very well-attended and there were many high-profile mourners - Theresa May MP gave the Bible reading.
Occasions sang Walford Davis' 'God be in my head'.

After this, we were invited to be part of his Memorial Service, and for this we sang Ben E King's 'Stand by me'.

Christmas Fair at Stonor Park, Berkshire

Occasions will be appearing again at Stonor Park. in a stunning parkland setting just outside Henley, to provide a packed programme ​of entertainment for the Henley Christmas Fair.
Lots of audience participation encouraged!
